US energy management and efficiency specialist Johnson Controls has announced that it is hooking up with German supplier of concentrating photovoltaic (CPV) systems, Concentrix Solar, a subsidiary of the Soitec Group.
The alliance will allow Johnson Controls to provide complete solutions for the mid-scale distributed and utility-scale solar power markets.
Johnson Controls will build, operate, maintain and support solar installations that use Concentrix Solar’s CPV technology.
“Partnering with Concentrix allows us to further differentiate our core services and breadth of offerings in a rapidly expanding renewable energy marketplace,” says vice president and general manager of global energy services at Johnson Controls, Iain Campbell.
